LSU deserves to be #1.................

Even though the picture above is of two Seminole Cowgirls and in no way related to this column, they are just too damm hot to ignore..enjoy...
I have zero idea why USC is still the #1 team in all of the land. It took a last second missed FG attempt by a Ball State team with grade school level talent @ best and before this they beat the ever talented Idaho ass-vandals. Comon. The Tigers deserve to be the #1 team is the land. period..... USC has been the trendy media darling the best few years and have had a tremendous run. They had Reggie "All Purpose" Bush and the ever so sexy, love me, want me, shower me with kisses Mr. Matt Leinart. They play a shitty non-conference scedule and PAC-10 talent/teams overall is much weaker in terms talent recruited. When LSU & Florida meet in BR in October, the winner of this game is going to have the inside track and a shot @ either USC or Oklahoma for the BCS title game. Keep in mind that this LSU team is the ONLY team is the current top 5 that has a victory over a top ten team as they whipped a V-Tech who was ranked #9 @ the time.

Keep these gaudy stats in mind as well. LSU's defense remains No. 1 in the nation in four categories after holding South Carolina to 261 total yards in a 28-16 win Saturday. The Tigers are No. 1 in scoring defense (5.75 points a game), total defense (161.5 yards a game), rushing defense (26.75 yards a game) and pass efficiency defense (67.69 rating).

Save the date. LSU and Florida will play in a rare prime time slot on CBS at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, CBS announced on Monday. It will be the Tigers' first night time kickoff in the regular season on one of the three major, non-cable networks since they lost to No. 4 Alabama 24-7 in the 1981 season opener in Tiger Stadium.
Also, did I mention how freakin hot those two cowgirls are? Love of god! I'm off to the bathroom..

This list was garnered from the ESPN College Football Encyclopedia . Only Arizona , Georgia Tech , Oklahoma , and Tulsa have eclipsed 150-points in at least one game. Georgia Tech is the only team to ever record over 200 points in one game, occurring in 1916 against Cumberland . Yikes!! Cracking the Code: How Teams Navigate the Transfer Portal Maze in College Football

Venturing into the transfer portal in college football is more art than science. While there are analytical approaches to scouting, the process remains a nuanced gamble for schools, especially given the vast pool of thousands of players each cycle. The spotlight often gravitates towards top transfers like Keon Coleman and Sam Hartman, but hidden gems emerge from less glamorous backgrounds. These unsung heroes, players who initially slipped under the radar upon entering the portal, often evolve into impact starters or all-conference-level players at their new homes. The quest for these less-obvious contributors raises questions: How do teams identify players from FCS backgrounds who can thrive in the Big Ten? Can a former star recruit, plagued by injuries, rediscover success at a new destination? To uncover the strategies behind finding these under-the-radar stars, 247Sports spoke with coaches and personnel experts. Notably, the majority of players discussed had transfer ratings belo...
